Overview

This thoughtfully designed journey offers a rich and balanced introduction to Albania, combining
vibrant cities, UNESCO World Heritage sites, dramatic landscapes, and relaxed moments by the sea.
Ideal for travelers who want to experience the essence of the country without rushing, this tour
blends history, adventure, gastronomy, and coastal beauty into a seamless experience.
Your journey begins in Tirana, a lively and colorful capital where past and present coexist. From
here, you travel south to Berat, the iconic “city of a thousand windows,” where Ottoman
architecture, living castle walls, and scenic river valleys create a timeless atmosphere. Days in the
Berat region can be as active or as relaxed as you wish — from mountain hikes and canyon
adventures to culinary experiences and wine tastings in the surrounding countryside.
The route continues to Gjirokastra, another UNESCO-listed gem, known for its stone houses, grand
fortress, and deeply rooted traditions. In nearby Përmet, nature takes center stage with options
ranging from rafting on Europe’s last wild river to soaking in natural thermal baths and discovering
peaceful mountain villages.
As the journey unfolds, ancient history meets Mediterranean charm along the Albanian Riviera.
Highlights include the magical Blue Eye Spring, the archaeological wonders of Butrint, panoramic
coastal roads, and laid-back moments overlooking the turquoise waters of Ksamil. The final stretch
takes you past classical ruins and spiritual landmarks such as Apollonia and Ardenica Monastery
before returning to Tirana.
With its flexible pace and carefully chosen highlights, this tour reveals Albania as it truly is —
authentic, diverse, and still refreshingly undiscovered. A perfect blend of culture, nature, and leisure,
designed to leave you with lasting memories long after you return home.
