Albania2Go on the fairs

During the first month of this new year, we were on a business trip in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia to participate with a stand on two different fairs. The first fair (GO International Travel Trade Fair) was in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, from the 16th until the 19th of January. We were amazed by how many people had been to Albania or wanted to come to Albania, because Albania is “the new destination in Europe to go to”. People came to our stand to talk about their experiences and to tell us how hospitable the Albanians are, how good the food is, how beautiful the nature is and how stunning the coastline is. People were also really interested to see a map of Albania, to see pictures of Albania and to hear stories about tours and what to visit; we of course, provided them with as much information as possible.

The second fair (ITF Slovakiatour) was in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, from the 30th of January until the 2nd of February and was much larger than the fair in Brno. We already knew that after the first fair in the Czech Republic, the brochures we had taken from Albania in the beginning of the month were not enough, so we had ordered more brochures from a company in Bratislava and on the second day of the fair, the guy we were communicating with brought the brochures himself and took a few brochures for him and his friend because he was interested in visiting Albania. People here came to our stand because they heard the advertisement on the radio that Albania was presented for the first time on this fair and they were really happy to meet us there because it is difficult to find good information online and it is good to meet in person before booking a tour or a beach holiday.

We were positive about both fairs and next year we will try to visit these countries again and hope to receive some clients.
